Join a one-of-a-kind workshop that assembles scholars who study the relevant topic of digital transformation and business leaders who face these challenges in their daily business.

HYVE and Prof. Karim Lakhani (Harvard Business School) are organizing a 1.5-day workshop in a chalet in the middle of the Alps.

Prof. Lakhani is a leading researcher in the field of crowd-based innovation models and the digital transformation of companies and industries. He is known for his work on how communities and contests can be designed and managed to achieve innovative outcomes.

The Workshop will include:

  • A rigorous team warm-up via a case discussion with Prof. Lakhani
  • Keynotes to show potential possibilities of Computational Challenges and to share provocative insights and urgent questions on the digital transformation of the economy.
  • Break-out session to further elaborate on your organization and the challenges within your industry you are facing every day.
  • Fireside chat and white space, generally over good food and drink

To get a first introduction to the topic, you can watch our Webinar on Computational Challenges presented by Prof. Lakhani. In the free webinar, he shows how companies like NASA, Pfizer, Harvard Medical School, and others have used crowdsourcing and computational challenges as a source of competitive advantage.

The workshop is going to take place on May 29th (full day) and May 30th (half day) 2017 in a chalet in the Alps near Lermoos, Austria. The remote environment in the mountains and the very modern seminar center (Grubigstein) will be the perfect set up for creative and constructive working sessions with business leaders.
